Final Fantasy is better to me. Dragon quest just doesn't have that epic quest feeling when I'm playing. In final Fantasy the whole world is at stake. Cutscenes and settings are better in FF too.
Though I enjoy playing DQM more than any FF or DQ. Weird I know.
