I think Nintendo and MS should do Wii and 360 redesigns

Nintendo could just have a software update. Also, the media features you listed could be released by a software update. From what I see, the only problems Wii has can be fixed with software updates.

They could, but if they leave that for a redesign it might fare better...

But what could they do with the system? It's pretty much as small as it can be. If you open one up the CD drive takes up the bulk of the system. It can't be like PS3 where it was a huge size/weight difference.
