Rather shallow thinking there given the sig you have. Everyone keeps going on and on about how Natal will fit into current genres, did everyone just ignore the new gameplay styles the Wii introduced and the success its had because of this reason? Natal I'm sure will be used in some of the more traditional genres but it will be a completely different gaming experience to what we're used to now. "Core" gamers for want of a better word get so hung up on the dislike of change they forget that gaming rules aren't written in stone. Natal will produce lots of new innovative gameplay elements that many people may love. I didn't think 10 years ago I would ever find rocking out to a plastic guitar on my console would be fun but it goes to show you what a great concept combined with execution can lead to.
All the above of course is entirely subject to the technology working as it should upon release. There are indeed huge doubts when any new technology is released but I would still rather be optimistic at the moment. Every persons initial reactions I've read that have actually used Natal have been extremely positive so until I get reports to the contrary I'll remain positive about it.

1. MS promise us at E3 that they can bring motion controlls to core games.
2. it's hard to be optomistic when you see what crap devs are doing for the wii.
