Obviously, if you tell yourself that nothing can touch God of War, you'll never even think about considering Bayonetta the superior game. How about we wait for God of War 3, then we can make a proper comparison about both styles of gameplay? ;)
I think EDGE believe that Bayonetta > God of War 1, 2 and CoO. I'll wait and play Bayonetta before I can comment on this though.

Bottomline, I hear what you're saying, I just don't expect to like the full Bayonetta more than the full GOWIII, since I've only played both demos. In all reality, check the first impressions thread about the Jap demo of Bayonetta. I was one of the voices hyping the game up, as I expect the full experience to be great. I just don't think it will be on the same playing field as God of War III, mainly because of God of War III's position:
- Last God of War game
- It's KRATOS after all
- The devs behind it will see to it that it's nothing short of epic.
Can Bayonatta achieve option 3, absolutely. Do I expect it to do it better than God of War III, not currently.

I will try both. I'm planning on getting Bayonetta for 360. I'm going to have to side with CGI and say that I highly doubt that it will even hold a candle to GOWIII.
