The game is a great game and I do think it helped along a dieing franchise but game of the decade......no way in hell. The story after the initial "Save the presidents daughter" was horrible. You got one bad guy who stares at you and rarely talks and another a strange midget guy. Its as bad as the annoying guy from Res5 that turned into the big water monster. The controls felt amazing a couple of years ago but stopping to shoot is dated and it really shows by todays standards. While I do love the game and think its way better than Res5 it wouldnt even be on my list of 5 greatest games of the decade. Would be my favorite Gamecube game which is kinda unfair cause it came out later on ps2. Metal Gear Solid 3 or SoTC stand up way more imo.
