ah 16-bit era delivered us not only the best RPGs, Fighting games, expanded the platformer, but also gave us arguably the best game of all time: Chrono Trigger.
BIG PROPS to the 8-bit era for starting it all, and making it so damn enjoyable and accessible.
BIG UPS to the 32-bit for adding the interaction.
And for the HD era ............. meh. Get back to your roots.
So my vote is for 16-bit.
