Incredible game. Did my first playthrough on the cube back in 2005 taking turns with a mate. Then clocked it again on the Wii which I believe is the definitive edition. A few things..
- Fantastic looking enviroments and characters, technically and artistically.
- Same for the game's pacing and flow. Couldnt wait to see what was around the next corner.
- Tight controls.
- Weapons and enemies have a lock and key feel to them. The set pieces, enemies and weapons seem perfectly tailored to each other.
- Cheesy but gripping script and dialogue.
- Loved the abandoned village in Europe look and feel, realy sinister.
- Good difficulty curve and balancing and very fun arcadey gameplay.
- The game is full of content and is incredible value for money.
I want another version of this tbh. On HD consoles, a remix on the Wii, anything....
