I'm not sure if you are saying that over the fct it is set in modern times, because CoD is anything but original doing that, or if you mean in the name, because DICE who are working on this released Battlefield 2: Modern Combat years ago anyway, long before CoD4.

I was talking about the about the name. Despite having bought Battlefield 2 I totally forgot that subtitle.

Still, it's a very unoriginal name right now.
