What does this mean? What does "tired of the halo formula" mean? Tired of really good FPS games? Tired of Sci-Fi shooters? This just always sounds really like regurgitated crap. What is there to be tired of? I really don't understand this line of thinking at all.
Note: Yes indeed, I am a Halo and Bungie fan, and I do not understand what about the game causes such intense anger.

Halo is great and all don't get me wrong, but I have played it enough to the point where I don't really get much enjoyment out of it is all. All the Halo games are similar enough in gameplay, so I just wish Bungie would make some sort of new game that had different mechanics than Halo.
I don't know if I gave off a bad vibe or anything, but I don't have any intense anger for a video game series, let alone any anger at all. They're just games, and I'm just glad Bungie is making something different from the Halo series for once. No need to get upset over anything.

Oh, I don't want anyone thinking I want only Halo from Bungie. I can't wait to see what else they can do on the HD machines (whichever they decide to put it on), I have just always wondered why there is so much angst laid at the feet of a game. I mean, it's a game right? Aren't they there to be played and have fun with?

I cannot wait as well. Bungie is very talented and whatever they make, it's assuredly going to be good. People just love to complain, it's just the way it is. Yes that's exactly what they are, and yes they're meant to be played and enjoyed. I'm glad we could come to some sort of understanding.
