Well that would definitely be bad but would be due to gamers taking less risks in their purchases thus EA will take less risks in their development. More sequels and more "safe" new IPs. Not the route I would like to go. But I still remember the words of the Dead Space developer stating we ask for new things but don't' buy it... it seems to be truer than ever lately.
