That's not true at all. vinyls don't sell much anymore and single sales are just as important... That is how infact the hot 100 is compiled besides airplay. The 2nd highest selling album of the year was r&b and that was Beyonce.
Ok but thats not the point. I'm saying in the U.S 2009... can you name more than 3 rock acts that were huge enough to carry the format to #1? IN THE U.S
