Definitely good post again Kwaad, there are the type of posts that I enjoy debating or talking about with you (which i have enjoyed much in the past, and this is what makes this forum good).

I agree with Heavenly Sword, but I don't think that will come for my eyes sooner than Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet has that wow amazing how is that possible look.  Crysis is also like that, but I don't know it might need super mega beast of computer to get those graphics.  If when I upgrade my cpu mobo and ram with the 8800 it doesn't run on my computer i'll be hella disappointed, if it needs sli 8800 GTX to run like the videos then I'll be disappointed, i like it when devs take advantage over hardware.

Lair, the cut scenes look OK to me, I did think it looked good, but not astronomical and not anything special, there is too much that doesn't look real or 'right' the fireballs have fire trails that appear out of no where, the grass looks the same as motorstorm which is a disappointment to me.

Kwaad have you played Excite Truck?? Personally I hate that game (i hate using Wii controls like that, just like Sonic SUCKS BALLS) - I'm sure you don't play Motorstorm with the tilt AMIRIGHT?  If I could play Excite Truck with a joystick (I haven't seen if you can but I doubt it) then I would like that game way more than Motorstorm, as an offroad racer that's what I would prefer, but because I hate the controls of Excite Truck (yep I like the Wii some of the Wii direction but steering with a bar in thin air is NOT one of them) then I actually prefer Motorstorm, it's just to slow and boring for me... so I'd prefer Excite Truck - does that make sense?  Overall I'm not a fan of racing games that aren't all about drifting so in the end neither of them really appeal to me that much.

But yeah, you know what I mean about the hi res pixel look so that's good, it's hard to explain that one.

Super Paper Mario in 2D I think will suit me very well, it's not pushing the hardware, but there are no jaggies no shimmer just a clean cartoon screen.

Eternal Sonata / Rusty Bell for 360 will look foogin fantastic, Blue Dragon I believe will use the blur effect I'm talking about as well.
