I didn't know there was a movie. Even though it might be the worst ever VG to movie adaptation I still want to see it. I really think the vampire lore represented by this game is BOOM! to the power of BOOM! superior to the vampire lore trash we are seeing on TV and in the movies these days, especially when you add in the time travel dimension of this story. It's such a convoluted plot that it does your head in, and I like that. There would be a good movie in there but alas no one ever puts the required effort into VG adaptation movies, so best left as it is. Can anyone point me to where I can find this fabled gawd awful movie?
LoK series was a big favourite of mine from PS1 and 2 (though I never managed to play either of the Blood Omen games). I've watched all of the cutscenes from every game (including the ones I've played) on Youtube. If they were all run together they'd make a pretty engaging story by themselves. But the LoK story has come to its natural end. I was very satisfied with the way Defiance wrapped up the story, and while I was sorry to see the series come to a close I think it would be a mistake to open it up again. I wouldn't mind a spin off based around the lives of Vorador and/or Janos Audron. Vorador was a key behind the scenes manipulator in the main story, so it would be cool to flesh out his story a bit more.
Another Eidos game that was gaming at its best was Fear Effect. I think that game could definitely do with a reboot or a sequel. I'd like to see a HD Hana if nothing else.
