And Syphon Filter is a tad different from Patapon considering the series was on both PS1 and PS2.  So I would say there is a very good chance it will be on the PS3, although not before UC3 or R3.

The point is why plug in two games as a measuring bar that don't have release dates or release years to ask about a game no one even knows is in existence, and then ask us to plug in which ones will come out first? Unless there's some common connection, it just doesn't make sense. Asking whether it'll be out before The Last Guardian at least makes a bit more sense since it's currently pegged for a Fall 2010 release.

Also there is no good or bad chance we'll see Syphon Filter on PS3. There's an announcement it's being made, or a strong rumor it's being made, which starts the talk that would culminate in threads like this. As of right now, the series is on the PSP.

How does asking whether it'll be out before The Last Guardian make more sense when there is absolutely no way that it will release before The Last Guardian.  He was asking about the other two games because they don't have release dates.   Therefore, it's fun to deliberate on whether or not a popular Sony franchise is being brought to the PS3 any time in the near future.

Yeah it is just a speculative question; but that's what most of the threads on this site are from what I can tell.  And because I'm a fan of the series I think it's a very good question.
