Dark Knight is the ONLY exception out of the PLETHORA of terrible sequels.

Hell, the guy who made the Dark Knight such an awesome hit is dead, what does that tell you about how it will go now?

So yeah, many more horrible sequels than the Dark Knight and Heath Ledger's obituary say HI back.

While Heath Ledger was incredible as the Joker, he's not solely responsible for how the character turned out, the director and the writer are a big part of it too.

No, if you read the articles on how Heath Ledger did such a fantastic job, you would know he locked himself in a hotel room for a month, rarely came out, and only concentrated on his role as the Joker.

So yeah, it really was all him, and he's 5 feet under now.

It's 6 feet under.  And perhaps his obsession with this role is what lead to his drug problems and death?

The Joker was only a one movie character... the first Batman Begins was great, and another sequel if it has good writing and directing and acting can do well also.

The only sequels that suck are the ones that are made simply out of money interest.  If the actual story was to take part over 3 movies, then provided that the directing and acting is good throughout, all 3 movies can be good.

And I agree with pearljammer.  So many people are complaining about Transformers 2... sure it wasn't an epic awesome movie, but it was still a good movie.  Otherwise millions of people wouldn't have bought it when it came out on Blu-ray/DVD.  If you think differently, no one is making you watch it.
