If you're happy with the original and would prefer if it had ended there, just simply skip the sequel/tv series.
I don't understand why people are bothered by the milking of series'. Sure, the resources could likely be used, often times more wisely, elsewhere but that never seems to be what people are complaining about.
I mean, it's not as if Zombieland will be of any less quality now that it is supposedly getting a cash-in sequel. If it's not for you - skip it.
