Yeah, I did that last weekend with the Dragon Age Stead deal and while I *love* Dragon Age, I still hate the whole experience of PC shopping. It's nice not having to go out, it's not worth it in the end.
- I have to download it so I don't get my physical copy with box art (I like that kind of thing)
- I don't get 360 achievements, why can't more games be like Batman? (this doesn't have anything to do with anything, just personal gripe).
- It took me about 6-7 hours to download, actually longer since I let my laptop go to sleep accidentally which meant it stopped. It's also not like I have a slow connection either, I have FiOS that's decently fast.
- It was a giant pain in the ass getting the editor installed as opposed to if I had just bought it, it would have been simple.
- I have to tweak my game to run right and still look good. Nothing to do with steam, but still an annoyance.
So Steam is convenient, but it's also pretty inconvenient too. That wait for the game to actually download especially sucks.
Oh, and I never have to pay for shipping since I have Amazon Prime. It costs a decent amount, but I more than save that in Christmas alone when shopping for gifts since I buy gifts for 16 people through Amazon.

Then go to the Amazon for whatever country you live in. |
I gave up trying to tell him that. I still have no clue why this thread was actually made when, again, it's a website. If you can check the Gamestop website, I'm not sure why it's so difficult to check the Amazon website no matter what country you're in.
