We're far enough into this generation where 2011-2013 are going to be easier strides as far as developing goes. Developers will no longer have to rebuild engines, only tweak them so that future sequels can be produced faster with efficient additions to their respected franchise. Just like Kazunori Yamauchi has stated that the gap between GT5-6 will be smaller than GT4-5 because they would have already had the engine built, all you have to do is add new features. That's not to say that dev's won't completely renew their game engine like ND did with UC2 but I think we will see games come out at a much faster rate from 2010 and on until the nex-gen starts.
