So why do you get Trophies for?

If a game has trophies i like, with stuff i'd do anyway(collect everything,get x, etc
) and interesting stuff i would not have done or that aren't time comsuming to get then i'll go for them. I like trophies, but i wouldn't do anything too absurd to get them.
