I do agree that most people DO know the Playstation brand, but I don't think the brand name matters as much as some people think it does. People want entertainment quick and easily. Why do you think fast food does sooo good in NA? Because it's cheap and it's easy and it's nearly just as good. Microsoft has provided that in the X360 from the get-go, thus everyone in NA thinks the X360 is waaay better. I can't tell you how many times I've been in arguements with ignorant fools that have no reason that the X360 is better besides the fact that all their friends have one.

This. I hate talking about games to my ignorant friends that only have 360s, because they think that the PS3 and Wii have no good games....seriously, in 2009/10 they are still saying this. Like the other day, me and my friends finished watching a movie and on our way home, we was talking about games and one of my friends that has a PS3 and a 360 said "man, I need to buy a PS3 game, need to give it some play." I looked at him like he was retarded, now I bet that if most of my friends had PS3s instead of 360s, he wouldn't find it hard to find any good games. NA's "me-too" mentality is ridiculously annoying.
