I was thinking for a moment that this would mean total console sales for BF week 2009 would out do 2008 (360 2009 selling more than PS3 2009 and Wii/DS flat left only PS2 and PSP to drag things down a bit). But then I saw the Wii edit pulling it back by about 50K and my hopes for a better 2009 BF week faded. But with PS3 '09>360 '08 and 360 '09>PS3 '08 it's still possible for the '09 result to be close to '08.
PSWII360 2008 was about 1.5 million. If the figures remain stable from the latest preliminaries then PSWII360 2009 should be 1575. If DS is a bit down and PSP and PS2 being as down as the prelim data suggests then the overall PS2DSPSP contribution will wipe out the 75K lead the big home consoles built up.
PS360 > Wii in Americas, but Wii probably > PS360 Worldwide.
