  They'll do one more, announced in 2011-2012, but if they keep losing money like they've been doing, the company itself may not be around by the time the gen after that comes around


True, I don't see any division of a company making huge losses and keeping doing it for more than 5 years. If the PS3 doesnt become profitable in the next 2 years, then Sony will have no choice but to close their gaming division. This is only basic logic.


  Its not just video games though, Sony is losing money almost across the board, and that is why they don't want to cut in 2010, because they are hoping to pull out of the red by late FY 2010, early FY 2011, but if they have to engage in price wars, it won't be good for their bottom line
