Do you have motion enhancer enabled?

If so, turn that shit off! That thing is seriously awful. My friends call it "soap opera" mode... (actually I just googled it, and seems we're not alone on this).

edit: Grats on the new TV btw. I can't wait till I get to replace this SD one, not just because I love HD (not really the case), but I want to be able to connect my laptop to use it as a monitor! Also, HD games nowadays can have ridiculously small text (annoying).

I'd have to look into that.  Around my house, we've been calling it Documentary mode.  Also, I'm still holding on to my SDTV.
