Then you better hold off for at least 5 years. The TV industry is in a major tech explosion and they already have 4-5 new technologies planned out and I'm sure they are working on more. TVs were in a stand still for a long time, but with the HD explosion we've seen DLP, LCD, Plasma, LED, OLED, and more.

I personally plan on buying one of the LED TVs next year, as I think they look really nice and I'd rather enjoy a new TV now than wait until "the best thing" finally hits the market.

my eyes are killing me too with the tv i currently have my ps3 on its small and isnt wide screen i will buy one around march 2010 im done waiting i just dont want to buy one now all the current models in stores are from march 2009

i know wat u mean bout the 5yrs i hate how tec is moving so fast now theres something new every yr nowadays

im a old fasion guy i remember the days wen buying tvs wasnt a hastle back in the 80s and 90s u didnt have to worry bout contrast rarios and response times and all the extra features
