They updated their warranty to cover the E74. Like 5 months ago when I got it, I called MS support, and told me I had to send the 360 back to the US (where I bought it) to get it repaired for free. So I didn't care about the warranty anymore, and fixed it myself.
But yes, they cover E74 in the 3 year warranty.
