That's just a load of crap.
Here's one example why: I got a PS2 at launch and many people were already watching DVD's back then. In fact, ONLY NOW is the situation with Bluray comparable to where DVD was when PS2 launched.
The price point is also a load of sh*t. PS3 launched for double the price.
The market was different with only Sega having launched a console.
All in all it's just not true. Now the PS3 *may* go and and be very successful, but that has nothing to do with the points in this article.
