It's a good enough article, and there are a lot of comparisons to be drawn between the 2 consoles, but the PS2 never had to compete with something like the Wii. It's possible that the PS3 will absolutely dominate the Xbox 360 (by the time Natal launches, if Autumn/Winter 2010, 360 will be entering its 6th year). PS3 might even get close to Wii in terms of weekly sales (80-85% of Wii sales), or even match if Wii sales dip again, but I just can't see the PS3 going on to dominate from 2010 onwards.
