It would be more interesting to know how that adoption rate compares to Vista's adoption, launch-aligned. And what impact has Windows 7 had on this chart:

Is it pulling in more people from Vista or from XP? Is it slowing Mac OS X's growth at all?
Edit: So far, it looks like the answers to my last two questions are XP and no. Vista seems pretty flat, and OS X is still growing steadily.
