| Pharaoh said: "You die too easily." This is exactly why people like Halo. They can run and gun, mind you while absurdly jumping in the air and still maintain perfect aim. Think about it, if this ever happened in real life, or in a future war these people would die insanely quick. That's why I hate Halo, it has absolutely zero realism. Zero. This of course explains the mass appeal, because anyone can pick up and play it effectively. The score page only shows kills not deaths during the game, which is absurd. Because the person with the most kills on your team could also have a .25 k/d ratio and still be in first place. (you can look at the in depth stats after the match, but no one really cares). I switched to modern warfare and have never looked back. In real life it only takes a couple of bullets to kill. Although, if MW2 didn't have auto aim it would be better, but then it wouldn't be massively successful. |
i do see you're point and i respect it. for me though, i do not play games for realsim, i play for fun. i enjoy halo much more because of how accessible it is for people and for being exaggerated in it's physics. that being said, i can enjoy a good match of cod every now and again, but i usually feel that games should be less focused about being realistic, and should be based more on entertainment. i still wouldn't say any game is all that realistic in it's portrayel of war, if i want realism, i'll join the military. but if you like the cod series, then by all means, enjoy it man. doesn't matter what i think
