After watching "The Enemies of Mass Effect 2" vid, I'm convinced that on January 26th 2010 the discussion for game of the year 2010 for me will be over. The first is still Game of the Gen for me and after just recently playing through it for a 3rd time I'm even more convinced. Maybe its not for everyone, but the setting just speaks to me. If I only had one complaint it would be the seemingly forced 'adult' elements, but it is a game of choice so a lot of it can be hopefully passed by.
Face it, if they've tightened up the framerate, opened up the squad commands more, streamlined the Mako missions and added more variety and substance to the side missions, this is going to be the game to beat for the gen.
Now if I would only stop watching these spoilery preview vids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
