I'm not sure you could buy GRID for €5 in retail stores. And I never buy anything on steam unless it's down to at least €15. So contrary to you, I think prices are one of the biggest selling points of Steam.
Grid is turning out to be an amazing experience, and for that price, it's a bargain. I only need a wheel for it to be perfect.
