People will die........but only about the same as other flu strains. Flu tends to kill the older population - swine flu H1N1 is more unique in that it's able to kill some younger, healthier people, but even then it still has killed less people than last year's flu. This mutated strain is about as likely to kill you as other flus - you're pretty young (teenager, right?) so you'll live.
