Considering inflation adjusments, that would mean PS4 would be half as pricey as the PS1 or the NES... not only that, there would be no room for pricecuts or profits, unless the hardware were to be really really crappy. Very smart prediction right there... Mark my words - no next-gen console will release for less than $349, neither for more than $499.
