Oh yeah, a week ago in the Oldboy recommendation threat I mentioned the flaws of the villain's motivation and actions, but there is no such thing as a perfect movie or a perfect anything for that matter.
And even though there are movies which might be better made or constructed and better stories and better acting, but the combination of the main actor's talent and the presentation and the purely unforgiving and unconventional and even illogical things and the director all combine to make this movie better in my opinion than about 10 movies I've seen that are superior if you only count the sum of their parts, but Oldboy as a whole is the better movie as an experience. It might not be the best movie in my opinion but it might, it's hard to compare some movies.
