Some of their songs are simple, but later on (specifically on the white album) there are some very complicated arrangements, that's where the bands real genius shows itself, their ability to arrange the songs.

Yeah, I wasnt saying it as a bad thing anyway, the thing is that they were genious in composition, and they could make great songs even if john lennon wasnt the best singer, or harrison the best with the guitar, their music is epic, especially their last works.
