I've had no problem with connecting my controller with the console via bluetooth. Only syncing issue I have is syncing trophies with server, it was only really a problem for me because I decided to upgrade my HDD from 80 to 160 at the time this trophy syncing problem arose. So, because for some unknown but really dumb and unjustifiable reason the back-up function doesn't save trophy info I had a hard time retrieving my trophy info back from the server after I finished installing the new HDD. Now that all my trophy info is back on my HDD I'm personally not all that worried about trophy syncing.
Bit of a worry if you can't connect your wireless devices though, that is way more problematic.
