Correct, though SK was 2nd party for Nintendo during the GC, at least at the time of Eternal Darkness, which means that the IP was a Nintendo IP that SK was put on for development. Sort of like how Retro makes Metroid Prime, but Nintendo owns the IP

Except Retro is also owned by Nintendo. That is unless you are talking exclusively about the first prime.
