After giving it some thought, I`m quite positive that FFXV would be less successful than FFIX if they jumped to Wii. A Wii release would make the series more popular in Japan but they`d lose a lot of popularity in the west. Think about what made Final Fantasy what it is today in the west. The cinematic soap operas. Without the uber-pretty cinematics, Final Fantasy is nothing in the west. You`ll see Final Fantasy selling at not much better than FF6 levels.
