^how so? It covers a good deal of the idea of disruption strategy as it pertains to Nintendo

I don't know, because it's not supposed to back up 100 years of research disruption and should be irrelevant to consoles? Though I can't imagine why consoles are immune.

Maelstrom seems to be moving back towards his BOS articles rather his BS Blog rants. Which I'm glad to see. He was sounding liking a childish fanboy. Though I still believe he is a childish fanboy for 2d style game of the arcade nature.

Well 2D arcade gaming is a lot of fun

Small anecdote here:

I overheard a conversation between a young woman and a young man concerning video games. Long story short, the woman could not handle the complicated nature of video games, but loved retro gaming. Considering how old we are, retro is Super Mario World, which she claimed she loved. As I heard this, I couldn't help but think to tell her that New Super Mario Bros. Wii has just come out, a Super Mario World 18 years removed.

2D is not niche, it is misrepresented.

Thing is, when 3D came out, there was the normal period where the wow factor just took hold and carried gaming towards 3D, but at this point, 3D has become nothing new, and people are realizing that in many ways, 2D gaming is just more enjoyable

Let me guess, you're a big fan of using AutoCAD to design...

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
