'Dark Void' Movie adaptation to star Brad Pitt - AAA?

one question: WHY?
it has an interesting concept for a movie, but the game looks like crap to me. am i the only one who thinks the whole flying gameplay looks awkward? to me Dark Void looks like Gears of War ripoff with bigger maps, colors and awkward(or even bad) flying mechanics.
