hmm a thread abou tthe pspGo by a ninty fan(no offense intended), ok i seriousy doubt that this could not be more biased.
the pspGo was never meant to be a really huge sucess, but the psp is certainly picking up popularity in japan as it actually sells more over there than the ds, it's just the rest of the world prefers ds over psp, simple as that.

DS has sold over three million copies in Japan this year compared with the PSP´s 1,8 million so clearly DS is selling much more. It´s just the last three weeks that PSP has sold better and part of that is because Japan is waiting for the DSi LL which is launching now. Next week DS will be ahead in full swing yet again. DS is also almost selling as much software than PSP,WII,PS3,360 and PS2 put together in Japan. So yeah, no competiton there.

what another DS, how come every time psp starts to make a big comeback nintendo have to make another ds, the amounts of changes to both handhelds are unbelieable, what changes are they including for the new ds, just out of curiosity??

i never said the psp was huge competition and i did not mention the whole years sales, you clearly misunderstood what i was sayng, no doubt the next ds will sell loads, but we shall see.

anway psp cannot stand against worldwide sales of the ds, but at least it still sells well enough to keep on going, unlike any other handheld device has ever done, you have go to admit that is a big accomplishment.

Yes I admit that PSP is quite an achievement from Sony on the portable market since Nintendo has had monopoly there for ages, however it still is Nintendos show since DS is their biggest seller ever among both portables and consoles. They accomplished this with harder competition than ever since many predicted PSP would be the new winner like the PS1 once were on consoles. That is also one hell of an accomplishment.

DSi LL is a new version of the DSi with much bigger screens that feels more like a portable you play at home like a console. It also has a longer batterylife than the original DSi. It seems to be doing rather good according to early reports. It will do very nice over the holidays anyway, no doubt about that.
