On a side note, I found Battle Royale and Run Lola Run more enjoyable than the two movies I've seen on this list (Audition and Pan's Labyrinth). But then again I have weird taste in movies.

I recommended Hard Candy recently in another thread, but I think Audition was harder to watch. Hard Candy's worst part is not that long while Audition is about 20 minutes long.

I've seen Battle Royale and Run Lola Run, both are good movies too, especially the Japanese one. Lola I saw a long time ago so I can't remember it too well might check it out again soon.
