While I do post this because Sterling generally amuses even though 99% of the stuff he writes is satire, I do find it pretty stupid that so many people are so upset about Left 4 Dead 2.
I was actually talking to someone last night and they started talking about Left 4 Dead 2 was sequel. I asked him why and he said we it's pretty much the same game and it came out only a year later!
I look at him funny and I asked him what were the differences between Gears and Gears 2 (and I really could have said most any sequel)? He thought about it and said, well not much.
I then asked him would he still be mad about the game if it came out two years after L4D rather than one year? He thought for a second, grumbled something, and went somewhere else.
So yeah, Left 4 Dead 2 is a sequel and not an expansion. The people that are bitching are just plain idiots.
