wrong.

you've to play kz2 before stating something like this.

lighting = SuperB...one of the best in any game out there.

textures = Good...not bad, it's not in the same level as the other aspects of the game, but they're good enough.

animation = SuperB...again one of the best in any console game out there.

particles = SuperB...same.

character models = Good...like i said, not great but not bad either.

 

we'll see if halo reach can stand against the ps3 powerhouses.

Didn't you read my whole post? I basically agree with most your points. Textures and models are good but nothing great, animation is the strongest point IMO. It has good light souces but no HDR, and the pseudo bloom that they use looks weak. Particles are VERY low-res and blurred to allow more of them on-screen, and some of them look like sprites not actual particles. I think outside of the particles and and dust effects the game looks good at most, and it only runs at 30 fps. The AA that they use looks more like a fake softening technique. Artistically they made great choices, technically I'm not that impressed. And yes I have played it, we just disagree.
