Nobody gets banned for modding their case, that just voids your warranty.  If someone got banned, they did more than just mod their case.

I know, right. People arguing just to argue.

 

Who says MS doesn't have some dignostic tool they can run through live that checks a systems processes? Easily done in the background while you are connected to Live and wouldn't involve software tracking.

 

There is no damned way MS would be able to tell if you painted your xbox case or hung an action figure off the side of it ffs.
