Another full score for Bayonetta, 10 from Edge. Are u kidding me?

These days, not really. TLR got a near full score (38/40), while Demon's Souls wasn't even close (29/40).

Pretty much this. A 40 from Famitsu used to be a rare sight; we'd get one every 2-3 years. But starting last year, it suddenly became 3 in one year. (This was repeated this year.) Famitsu has killed the value of their 40 by giving out so many recently.

As for Edge, trying to actually see what they've reviewed on their site is damn near impossible without searching every single title, but I do recall thinking that many of their 10 scores were in games with a fair amount of fanservice. I really think that's how they give out 10s...
