Long story short:  Two days ago, my girlfriend went through my Xbox 360 friends list and saw two guys with female avatars.  She immediately accused me of having an affair.  I showed her who they were on VGChartz.  I proved to her that they were dudes.  Then she looked at my profile.  "Why do you have dating as your relationship status?", she asked.  "Well, they don't have "engaged" as one of the choices and if I put "partner", people will think I'm gay."

She made me change my status to married.

We live together and we have a kid so it's not too far from the truth.
