Patapon is nice and original, but overall, with its very low attach ratio, PSP is a successful and expensive media player that can do games too. DS is from another planet, I guess Sony accepted it by now and is happy with decent HW sales, decent profit margin on HW, and SW royalties that are little more than meh thanks to the 50million+ user base that makes SW sales on the lower end of acceptable despite the low tie ratio. PSP will end its life as the third most successful portable and the most successful 2nd classified in its gen portable, a decent 2nd division success for the first portable made by Sony in a market that Nintendo always dominated without ever losing its secret recipe for overwhelming success.
