Yeah, it's quite possible that some people honestly dislike nintendo-type games for shallow stories and whatnot while others simply can't have fun with xbox type games for some reason. Natural segmentation. That's possible.
But most of the people here are not like that. They just attack games because those games aren't on their consoles.
People don't have to like games of other consoles, but at least gamers ought to respect well-crafted games even if they can't or don't want to play them. There's absolutely no need to bash them unless of course you have played them thoroughly and have legitimate complaints.
This is totally unrelated but as for a shallow story, I sort of agree with someone in this forum who said most game stories were shallow anyway, although there could be few exceptions. I'm in my 30s, fairly educated, have read a lot, and quite frankly, the qualities of most in-game stories are just so fucking abysmal that I might as well play a game with no story. When I do play games with so-called "deep story", I try not to chuckle. Well, but that's just me.
