| RolStoppable said: No darth, I can't name many more as I don't buy a lot of DS games. I am first and foremost playing on home consoles. But the main difference between the DS and PSP is that the DS has more unique games only available and possible on that platform while many of the PSP's big games are basically small versions of PS2 or PS3 hits. This might explain the general lack of interest in PSP titles, they could be seen as dumbed down console games. That's just a theory though. |
Imho that's not just a theory, but a fact. PSP appeals to the standard 13-35 male demographic that PS3 and Xbox360 also cater to, while DS targets everyone and their grandma. Bigger, more diverse audience = more and more diverse games = tons of unique games only possible on that specific system. I don't wanna play my console games on a handheld, that's what my consoles are for.
